Being in front of a camera is certainly a little different from my usual research activities!
As part of receiving the Jülich Excellence Prize 2026, I had the opportunity to talk about my research in a short video produced by Forschungszentrum Jülich.
In the video, I share some insights into my work on plant roots, artificial intelligence, and computational modelling, and explain why understanding what happens beneath our feet is so important for agriculture.
It was a great opportunity to look back on some of the questions that have kept me busy over the past years and to share a little of the science behind them.
